Director's Message

Welcome to the Office of Information Technology.  It is our mission to implement, monitor, and maintain information technology such as the campus data network, telephone system, computer systems, computer labs, and servers at Lincoln University.  Additionally, we offer centralized support, training, and consulting concerning information technology provided to the campus community.

The Office of Information Technology is one of the primary divisions at Lincoln University reporting to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. Its employees in five departments include programmers, systems analysts, technicians, system and network administrators, operators, and support personnel.

Mission Statement

The Information Technology Department (IT), through its stewardship of technology, shall support, educate and encourage the Lincoln University community in its exploration and use of technologies in the pursuit of varied division and departmental missions. The mission of the Information Technology department of Lincoln University is to provide support to faculty, students, staff, and administration of the university in their use of technology in a responsive, capable, comprehensive, and cost effective manner. The primary focus of the department is to build and maintain the IT infrastructure which comprises network (both wired and wireless, Internet connectivity), hardware (PCs, printers, phones, mobile devices, etc.), and software (Colleague SIS, Microsoft Exchange e-mail, etc.).


The Office of Information Technology seeks to provide the highest standards of customer service and technical support to our user community. This page will provide links to help users on the University network navigate the systems the office has in place to provide your necessary technology needs.
