Lincoln Online

Overview

What is Lincoln Online?

Lincoln Online allows students to take their courses on the computer rather than in a traditional classroom setting. Some courses are partially online, such as the hybrid courses in the Masterof Edcation programs, and some of on-campus courses are web-enhanced and meet primarily or entirely in the classroom with tools and resources online.

Students and instructors communicate via email, discussion forums, and course materials, quizzes, readings, and tests are located on the Learning Management System's course page for that class. Lincoln offers fully online, hybrid, and web-enhanced courses through the Learning Management System, Moodle.

Are you ready to take take online or hybrid courses?

Working in online courses requires students to have basic computer skills, solid reading and writing skills, and a high degree of self-discipline. Take the Student Readiness Survey (see linked documents and pages) to see if you are ready to take online or hybrid courses.
