Professional Positions

Residence Hall Coodinator (RHC) – RHCs are full-time live in professional staff members. They supervise Resident Advisors,advise Residence Hall Association, participate in a duty rotation,and help students with a variety of issues. Para-professional Positions

Resident Advisor (RA) – RAs are traditionally upperclassmen students who live on each floor and will provide residents with advice and support throughout the academic year. Desk Assistant (DA) – DAs are students who assist the Residence Life staff.  DA's help with visitor sign in, bulletin boards, spreading the word about events and more.  In our experience, we notice students who start as DAs become interested in the RA position.  DAs can be paid through work study but is also available on the volunteer basis. Questions regarding the Desk Assistant position should be directed to Ms. Valerie Reason, Program Assistant of Residence Life, at reason@lincoln.edu

Communications and Marketing Intern* – The communications and marketing intern will be responsible for the Residence Life image and marketing efforts, as well as developing a plan for and implementing the management of various marketing media. Additionally, the communications and marketing intern will help with special projects in the main office.  This position may require some evening and weekend hours.  Interns are paid through federal work study.  Questions regarding the communications and marketing internship should be directed to Mr. Jonathan Harris, Residence Hall Coordinator & Intern Supervisor, Residence Life, at jharris@lincoln.edu

*The internship is paid through federal work aid but we are offering unpaid internships as well, that way it will not conflict with any other campus jobs you may have
