Student Affairs

Vice President's Message

People often ask me, “What is Student Affairs and what exactly do you do?”  My answer is always, “We provide services, programs, and educate students outside the classroom experience.”  Essentially, we are concerned about the holistic development of students.  My job is to ensure that you are the “Total Package,” being able to improve your life and the lives of others you will encounter.

The Division of Student Affairs creates a campus environment conducive to academic enrichment, student participation and development, and positive interaction between faculty, staff and students. We are dedicated to creating a truly dynamic experience within a campus culture that embraces our SECURE core values of students, excellence, care, understanding, respect, and ethics.

There are many departments that comprise the Division of Student Affairs to include: Admissions, Career Services, Counseling Services, Financial Aid, Health Services, International Programs, Public Safety, Religious Life, Residence Life, Student Life & Development, Student Support Services, University Marching Band, Upward Bound, Wellness Center and Women’s Center. Our experienced staff and administrators bring a unique combination of professional history at Lincoln University and relevant experience in higher education to their work with students every day. As indicated in the University’s Vision Statement, we are dedicated to “providing scholarship, personal development, social responsibility, cultural enrichment and innovation that prepare individuals for careers and leadership positions to enhance the quality of life for all people and meet the challenges of a highly technological and global society.”

I encourage you to become actively engaged and involved in your collegiate experience through organization membership, leadership development and opportunities, and participating in various events, so you can fully appreciate all that Lincoln University has to offer.

LU PRIDE!!!  Go Orange and Blue!!!
