Yvonne R. Hilton

Dr. Yvonne Hilton has worked in higher education for 24 years.  She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Lincoln University (1988), a Master’s Degree in Physical Education from the University of Delaware (1990) and a Doctor of Education degree in Organizational Leadership and Innovation from Wilmington University (2009).  Dr. Hilton began her tenure at Lincoln in the fall of 2000.  She demonstrates a passion and willingness to address the needs of a diverse population of students in a challenging and caring learning environment.  Dr. Hilton has given herself to the service of the university community:  she has served on various university faculty standing committees; been a panelist in a women’s health program; served as a facilitator in an anti-drug workshop for student athletes; been a faculty advisor to the department’s major’s club.
