LINCOLN UNIVERSITY BOARD NAMES RICHARD GREEN INTERIM UNIVERSITY PRESIDENT

Dr. Richard Green, interim president LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – The Lincoln University Board of Trustees named Dr. Richard Green to serve as interim president of the university at its annual meeting on April 18. He will assume the role effective July 1.

STATEMENT OF DR. VALERIE I. HARRISON, ACTING PRESIDENT, REGARDING GOOGLE MAPS PLATFORM & HOT 97 – FM RADIO PERSONALITY’S COMMENTS

The University has received a number of inquiries concerning the Google Maps platform that was linked to racial slurs directed at President Barack Obama, the White House, and Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs), including Lincoln University. News of the Google offense prompted a spirited discussion on New York City’s Hot 97 – FM morning show. During the discussion, co-host Peter Rosenberg referred to Lincoln as a “surprisingly quiet” HBCU and opined that Lincoln is not very well known.

2015 Valedictorian to Join Prestigious National Accounting Firm

Oluchukwu AguWhen Oluchukwu Agu stepped to the lectern today, his mother got quite a surprise. Until that moment, Agu kept a big secret: he is Lincoln University’s 2015 valedictorian.

“She’s only going to be mad for two minutes; then she will be happy,” Agu said with a laugh prior to Commencement, adding it was an early Mother’s Day gift.

Johnson, Ed.D., urged the more than 375 undergraduate and graduates students today to never settle and “flap their wings” like eagles during Lincoln University’s 156th Commencement Address.
