The Students First Campaign seized a new opportunity to engage with young alumni at the YAC’s (Young Alumni Council of the Alumni Association of Lincoln University – AALU) happy hour mixer held on Thursday, May 29th at the Firestone Roasting House in Wilmington, DE.

Nearly 25 young alums assembled in the lounge-style setting, sharing those good ‘ole Lincoln stories and reconnecting with classmates, fraternity and sorority brothers and sisters, teammates and fellow members of other organizations.

Outreach Program Coordinators, Marshayla Kinsel ’12 & Rich Lancaster ’12, emphasized the importance of giving back to their alma mater as well as supporting The Students First Campaign.  Each alumnus was provided a campaign packet and information on how to donate.

As a result, many alumni immediately took to their social media networks to promote the campaign and the importance of realizing the $10 million goal.

The Students First Campaign was established to raise $6 million for merit-based student scholarships and $4 million for need-based student scholarships. We encourage all alumni to get on board and make their gift today. Please contact the Office of Institutional Advancement at 484-365-7440.
