The Department of Public Safety at Lincoln University officially moved operations to a new location on January 19. The 2,800 square foot modular unit was installed in December with utility hookup and access ramps installed in early January.
There was an email circulating January 25 addressed to Lincoln students about a threat of violence. Public Safety received the email and investigated its origin.
Upon further review and working with other agencies, it appears the threat was creditable and was directed at a high school in another state with the name "Lincoln" contained therein. The time frame for the threat has elapsed and it further appears that situation has been contained.
