School of Adult & Continuing Education

The School of Adult & Continuing Education (SACE) is dedicated to providing educational opportunities to a culturally-diverse population of adult learners from all over the world who are practitioners in their chosen fields. In our commitment to uphold and magnify the academic standards of the University, it is essential that each candidate align with the overall mission of Lincoln University and satisfy the requisite criteria for eligibility to one of the University’s graduate programs in Business, Education or the Human Services or one of its accelerated-undergraduate programs in Business and Human Services.

My time in the Master of Education program was filled with educational insight and experiences.  I learned from both my professors and classmates about school culture, early childhood, and special education standards, curriculum planning, and so much more.  Through collaboration and mutual understanding, we all were able to become better teachers.
-- David E. White, Master of Education in Early Childhood and Special Education, Class of 2019

Transitioning to Lincoln University for a Masters in Educational Leadership from Cheyney University was seamless. Being a Bond-Hill scholar removed the financial burden, and maintaining the intimate class size cultivated a sense of family. My time at Lincoln prepared me professionally and academically for my current doctoral program in Executive Educational Leadership.
-- Kyle D. Morris, Master of Education in Educational Leadership, Class of 2018

My experience was both great and memorable. Attending Lincoln’s Master of Education program has invigorated me to keep creating, keep pursuing what I love, and fully embrace my potential as an educator.
-- Tiffany B. Patterson, Master of Education in Early Childhood and Special Education, Class of 2019

The Internship class allowed me to gain additional experience in my field while building lifelong professional relationships. My second class, Assessment, allowed to gain knowledge about the DSM-5 and how to become an effective clinician.  These classes have been instrumental in my professional growth and development as a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor I have already recommended several of my peers to take these classes to move closer to obtaining their LPC.
-- Brenda J. Byrd, LPC, Master of Human Services, Class of 2010

Most adult learners delay going back to school because they feel it's too late or they won't be able to keep up in class. SACE provides a supportive learning community where you can ask questions, get help, learn, grow, evolve, and achieve.
-- Tommie W. Suggs, Bachelor of Science in Management, Class of 2020

The experience and education that I have acquired attending Lincoln University has been nothing short of amazing. Not only will I graduate from a four-year program in two years with a BA in Human Services, I will also have a minor in Spanish. I owe my success to God, Lincoln University staff, and faculty members of SACE.
-- Walkirya Peralta, Bachelor of Arts in Human Services, Class of 2020

An excellent byproduct of my experience in the Master's program was the faculty-led study abroad in Cape Town, South Africa, through which I was able to learn about a different culture, political, and economic system that was truly exceptional and enlightening. I am forever grateful for the Lincoln University experience.
--Ashton Burrell, Master of Science in Business in Human Resources Management, Class of 2006

I graduated from Lincoln University of PA in 2011 with my BA in Visual Arts, so when I applied for my Masters in Early Childhood Education in 2017, I knew I was coming home. --Hollinda Z. Tudor, Master of Education in Early Childhood Education, Class of 2020
