Lincoln University is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Muscella as Physical Plant Director. He began his duties on Monday, June 4.
Muscella brings nearly 14 years of facilities management experience to Lincoln University. He served as a consultant for Prichard Sports & Entertainment before joining Lincoln. Some of Muscella’s other assignments include serving as the Director of Facilities & Safety for the Springfield School District, as well as the Stadium Housekeeping Director for the New York Yankees. He also has experience in higher education, having served as a project manager at Rutgers University.
“I am thrilled to be a part of the Lincoln University team, said Muscella. “My entire career has been spent in the facilities management industry and I look forward to continuing that tradition by providing the students, staff, and community, with a safe, clean, and mechanically sound environment.”
Muscella holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Bellevue University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Central Michigan University. He also earned certifications from Rutgers University, Villanova University, and the State of New Jersey.
“Matt Muscella’s appointment as Physical Plant Director comes at a critical time for Lincoln University,” said President Robert R. Jennings. “With a number of new facilities opening in the near future, Lincoln University has a great need for someone with the expertise and knowledge to properly operate them along with the many other structures on campus. I have every confidence that Mr. Muscella will do so efficiently given his background in facilities management.”
Outside of his professional life, Muscella enjoys traveling, reading, golf, and spending time with his fiancé.
