2019 Sexual Violence Prevention and Education Program Kickoff Expo

The Sexual Violence, Prevention and Education (SVPE) Program Kickoff Expo, the signature program of Sexual Violence, Prevention and Education Program, is an uplifting healthy relationships promotion and sexual assault prevention event that includes interactive expo booths, peer-to-peer messaging, support of multiple campus departments and groups, entertainment, and exciting prizes. SVPE Program Kickoff Expo aims to create an approachable and hopeful atmosphere where students are encouraged to engage in dialogue about sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, stalking and gender-based violence and helps to build a bridge between students and the resources available on campus, in the community, and nationally for acts of power-based violence. We will use the hashtags #ProtectThePride and #SVPEKickoff. The event will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the LLC Dining Hall Lobby.
