The Apollo Theater is internationally renowned for having influenced American and pop culture more than any other entertainment venue. Academy Award-winning director Roger Ross Williams looks at the history of the legendary Apollo Theater while following the inaugural staging of Ta-Nehisi Coates' Between the World and Me in the Emmy Award-winning documentary, @theapollodoc!
