Black History - Women of Color - Week One

This Month the LU Women are shining light on some amazing women of color enacting positive change within the communities around them.

February 6th, the spotlight is on Amaya Smith and Kimberly Smith. These leading ladies are the founders of Brown Beauty Co-Op, a space dedicated to the hair, skin, and holistic beauty of women of color. Located in Washington D.C., their goal is to provide a place that carries beauty products that affirm and meet the needs of women of color. Goodbye “ethnic aisle” and hello “designed with you in mind”!
