Lincoln University is Celebrating 167 Years!

Originally established as The Ashmun Institute, Lincoln University received its charter from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on April 29, 1854, making it the nation's first degree-granting Historically Black College and University (HBCU).

Today we celebrate Lincoln University’s 167th year of educating and empowering the next generation. We encourage you to Donate, Commemorate, Celebrate, and Share in honor of the LU Legacy.

Join us at 4 p.m. at the Lincoln arch for the annual "Wreath Laying Ceremony" and remember to wear your ORANGE & BLUE. Thank you for being a part of the Lincoln family and for your ongoing support!
