2019 A Light in the Window

Observed annually throughout the month of October, the Light in the Window Campaign signifies community solidarity toward ending domestic violence across the state by organizing a widespread display of purple-lit, electric candles in the windows of residences, businesses, public buildings, schools/universities, hospitals, churches, etc. This is an all-day observance.

Join the Biology Department for a semester-long seminar series which brings in speakers from different fields in the biological sciences on Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m  in the Ivory V. Nelson Science Center, room 123. We will hear from Dr. John Drazan, who will talk about how to increase representation in biomedical careers and studies through community-situated biomechanics laboratories.
