Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for John Miller Dickey Hall & Azikiwe-Nkrumah Hall

Lincoln University will celebrate the newly renovated and reopening of John Miller Dickey Hall & Azikiwe-Nkrumah Hall. Both projects were completed late spring 2021 while faculty and staff moved into the new spaces throughout the summer. The renovated Dickey Hall will provide space for the academic departments of Business and Entrepreneurial Studies, Psychology and Human Services, Sociology and Criminal Justice, and the History, Political Science & Philosophy. The Center for Effectiveness in Teaching and Learning and Institutional Effectiveness, Research and Planning, and Information Technology departments will also be housed in the building. The Pennsylvania Department of General Services funded the project at $17.5 million.
Azikiwe-Nkrumah Hall will be home to the Division of Institutional Advancement. The preservation of Hall's historic elements, including brick, windows, and trim. The design preserves as many historic elements as possible while providing for the functional necessities to staff and students. The Pennsylvania Department of General Services funded the project at $3.4million.
