Rosenwald Documentary Film

Tuesday, April 10 in the International Cultural Center Theater - All are invited to a screening of the documentary film Rosenwald. The film focuses on the incredible story of businessman and philanthropist Julius Rosenwald and his success in partnering with African American communities to build schools in the South during the Jim Crow era, as well as the Rosenwald Fund, which supported many distinguished African-American writers, poets, and artists as well as HBCU campus buildings across the country. Rendall Hall on Lincoln’s campus was erected in 1931 with funds provided by the Rosenwald Fund. In addition, there's a bonus feature on Horace Mann Bond.
