LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – The Office of Financial Aid encourages students to submit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid at studentaid.gov or via the MyStudentAid mobile app.
“Filing your 2021-2022 FAFSA early is so important, even more so with the COVID-19 pandemic," said Kim Anderson, Financial Aid director. "When students file their FAFSA early, they open themselves up to more funding opportunities as these awards are on a first-come, first-served basis.”
Financial Aid offers these tips to complete the FAFSA quickly:
- Remember your FSA ID(s)
- Your parents will need their own FSA ID to sign your 21-22 FAFSA. Your FSA ID acts as a digital signature.
- Use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) for your 2019 Tax Information
- Submit with both student and parent signatures
The Office of Financial Aid staff members are available for assistance and will have extended meeting hours during the week of October 5 through October 9 specifically to help students complete their 2021-2022 FAFSA. Students can request an in-person meeting or a Zoom meeting by using the Financial Aid Calendly.
