LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. - The Lincoln University Athletic Hall of Fame Committee and Director of Athletics and Recreational Services Harry Stinson III are pleased to announce the 2022 Hall of Fame class.
The four new individual members will be honored during the 2022 induction ceremony that will take place on the campus of Lincoln University 11:30 a.m. May 13 at the Wellness Center Dining Hall.
Track & Field student-athletes Chaz Clemons and Brandon Jones will be joined by basketball/softball student-athlete Sharay Dubose. Former track & field student-athlete, and renowned actor, Roscoe Lee Browne will be inducted posthumously.
This is the eighth class to be inducted into the Hall of Fall which now boosts 50 individual members and five championship teams.

Below is the list of inductees
Roscoe Lee Browne (posthumously) – Track and Field
Known for his role as Professor Foster on the Cosby Show, which earned him an Emmy, graduated from Lincoln in 1946. He won two AAU 1,000-yard national indoor championships. He also organized the track & field team for the United States Army's 92nd Infantry Division while serving in Italy during World War II.
Browne won the 800-meters at the 1946 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships, and later earned All-American status by finishing third in 880-yard event at the NCAA Championships
In the six years following graduation, he returned to Lincoln to team English, French and comparative literature.
Chas Clemons – Track and Field
No man dominated the short sprints more than Chaz Clemons between 2000 and 2003.
Clemons, won six NCAA individual titles and helped the Lions to three more in relay events. He became the only man in NCAA D-III history to win four consecutive 100-meter crowns from 2000 to 2003, won back-to-back 55-meter titles in 2001 and 2002, and carried LU to three consecutive relay titles in the 4×100 relay.
The former Lion standout, who earned 13 All-America honors, left his mark on the NCAA D-III record book as well. He still holds the second fastest wind-legal mark in the 100 in NCAA D-III history at 10.19, which also doubles as the current championships record. The 4×100 relay teams Clemons was a part of own the third fastest and fifth fastest marks in that event. Clemons is a member of the USTFCCCA NCAA Division III Track & Field Athlete Hall of Fame.
Sharay Dubose – Women's Basketball
Dubose, a three-sport athlete at Lincoln, made her biggest impact on the hardwood. She finished her career with 1,433 points, eclipsing the 1,000-point barrier as a junior, becoming the first Lincoln D2 women's basketball player to reach the scoring mark. Her 432 points as a freshman is the most by any LU freshman.
She was a team MVP in basketball, twice, softball and volleyball. She is ranked in the top 10 offensively in batting average (eighth, .291), runs scored (eighth, 40), hits (sixth, 63), doubles (sixth, 11), triples (second, 4), and stolen bases (37).
Brandon Jones – Track and Field
Jones was a three-time indoor national champ in the 55H, and a five-time outdoor champ–three in the 100m, and twice in the 200m, and ran on three 4X100m relays between 1991-1995. Among those victories are a meet record in the 55H, and a championship record in the 100m. Jones is his School record holder in the 55m.
Jones is a member of the USTFCCCA NCAA Division III Track & Field Athlete Hall of Fame.
