Lincoln University Community,
Yesterday, the Philadelphia Tribune posted a story with an inaccurate headline regarding the current leadership transition at Lincoln University.
Board Vice Chair Dimitrius Hutcherson will NOT be taking over presidential duties as the Tribune's headline wrongly stated on July 15th, 2020.
As per the Board’s July 15th announcement, Vice Chair Hutcherson will work with the administration on day-to-day issues where supervisory assistance is required, until such time as an interim president is selected by the Board of Trustees.
The Board has engaged The Registry for College and University Presidents, an agency for interim senior academic leadership, to accelerate the Interim President selection process. A Special Call Meeting will be held by the Board of Trustees for this purpose on July 23, 2020.
Lincoln University is calling on the Philadelphia Tribune to set the record straight and correct yesterday’s headline.
