Fifth-year senior Bryanna Brown (New York, N.Y./Bishop Loughlin) was named the 2022 Food Lion CIAA Women's Basketball Player of the Year, marking the second consecutive season a Lincoln University women's basketball player has picked up the CIAA honor. She becomes the fifth LU student-athlete – third this season – to earn Player of the Year honors from the conference.

"What a phenomenal honor for a phenomenal student-athlete," said Lincoln University Women's Head Basketball Coach Janice Washington. "Bry has really worked to become the consistent two-way player that she is. Her commitment to excellence remains steadfast and I look forward to seeing her performance during the upcoming CIAA Tournament."

She was also named as an All-CIAA backcourt honoree and was joined by senior Kryshell Gordy (Chester, Pa./Ursuline Academy (Del.)) – who earned frontcourt honors from the CIAA.
