Cross Country competes at GBC

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – Members of the Lincoln University cross country teams participated in the Goldey Beacom Fall Classic Friday morning at Carousel Park in Wilmington, DE.

Four members of the women's team ran during the meet with junior Dixonna Ndanemah (Philadelphia, Pa./Girls High) being the first Lincoln harrier across the line with the time of 25:30.9. Freshman Destiny Pierre Mathieu (Drexil Hill, Pa. /Prendie & Bonner) was the next runner to finish with the time of 26:06.3.

The last two harriers to complete the course were freshman Aisha Carrington (Baltimore, Md./Franklin), who finished in 28:00.8, and sophomore Kaz'Minah Turner in the time of 31:26.4.

Junior Corey Muzon was the lone male harrier to compete for the men's cross country team, finishing the course in 39:10.1.

Lincoln returns to action 10 a.m. next Saturday at the Penn State-Abington Invitational.
