LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa - The Lincoln University baseball team, after having back-to-back weekend series' canceled, will finally get to open the 2021 season. The Lions travel to Albany State University 4 p.m. February 25 at Golden Rams Field at West Campus.

Today's game is the first of a three-game series as the two teams will play a seven-inning doubleheader Friday. Senior Rolando Alvarez (Brooklyn, N.Y./Nazareth Regional) (Brooklyn, N.Y./Nazareth Regional) or junior Trevon Sutton (Chicago, Ill./Harlan Community Academy) (Chicago, Ill./Harlan Community Academy) will take the ball in the opener.

SCOUTING THE RAMS
Coming off a 6-5 victory over Georgia Southwestern Monday, Albany State in 3-1 on the season. Senior Chasen Roulhac was 2-for-4 with four RBI in the victory over the Hurricanes. The Golden Rams have three hitters – Roulhac, Nate Lloyd, and Lachlan Ross - over .400 in the young season. As a team, they are slashing .246/.350/.275 on the year.

Six of the seven hurlers that have toed the rubber for the Golden Rams are seniors. Opposing batters are hitting .147 against the Albany State staff this season.
