Lincoln University, PA—During the 2021 Homecoming week, The Lincoln University community will celebrate the Alumni Memorial Arch that was dedicated in 1921 to honor the 167 Lincoln alumni soldiers who served in World War I.
The celebration includes a research presentation by first-year students led by Professor C. Marlene Lacy, Homecoming Sunday Services at the historic Mary Dod Brown Memorial Chapel, a post-service march to the Alumni Memorial Arch, honoring each alumni soldier, and a student research exhibit.
“Tending to the Past to Learn, Liberate, and Lead the Future is about encouraging the souls of students and sharing stories to not forget the past and have faith for the future,” said Rev. Dr. Frederick T. Faison, associate vice president of Student Success, Health and Wellness & Chaplain. “Homecoming is about us pondering the contributions to be made now for future generations.”
