Lincoln University Day in Harrisburg

On May 1, the University hosted its inaugural Lincoln University Day in Harrisburg. President Allen, members of her executive team, and student leaders engaged with elected officials. Allen was recognized on the floor of the state House of Representatives thanks to our host, State Rep. John Lawrence, who represents portions of Chester and Lancaster counties. Additionally, thanks to State Rep. Stephen Kinsey, a Philadelphian who chairs the Pennsylvania Black Caucus, Allen addressed caucus members regarding the need for an equitable funding formula for the University’s state appropriations.
