During the 2018 National Day of Giving campaign, Lincoln enjoyed a record number of contributions from longstanding and first-time alumni donors, dedicated faculty and staff, students and friends of the University. These 346 supporters prove that the pride is still flowing through the hearts of many, and the gifts that you all gave made a real difference in closing the gap for students.
Alumni know firsthand of the University's commitment to academic success and the value of a Lincoln education. These are two of the many reasons you should donate today.
Whether you would like to contribute to a scholarship or establish your own, help fund educational programming or contribute to your favorite athletic team, Lincoln welcomes your gift. Some tend to think if you cannot give a large gift to the University, you should not give at all. The truth of the matter is, the students need any support they can get to attend and graduate. Across campus and beyond, small gifts add up to make a big difference. Whether it be in the classroom by supporting the talented faculty and innovative programs, or in local, national and international communities, where the students engage in internships, work-study programs and study abroad experiences.
Closing the gap for student access and success is the ultimate goal. As the Lincoln community continues to grow, your continued financial support and sharing of the Lincoln story, the goal is surely attainable. If you have not made your gift or have not reached your annual goal, you still have time. All gifts for fiscal year 2018-19 need to be made or postmarked by June 30, 2019. Don’t wait, make your contribution today, www.lincoln.edu/give.
