MBB adds nationally ranked team

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA - The Lincoln University men's basketball has added a non-conference home game with a nationally ranked team.

Ferris State University, ranked 11th by D2SIDA, will be opening its season when they visit Manual Rivero Hall 1 p.m. December 19. The Bulldogs are the top-ranked team in the Midwest region.

The reigning Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) champions were also ranked 17th by The Basketball Times and 15th by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). Ferris State, which claimed the 2018 NCAA Division II National Championship, has won at least 20 games in six straight seasons.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, fans will not be allowed to attend. The game will be streamed through the CIAA Sports Network and live stats will be available.
