LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA - A two-game road trip for the Lincoln University men's basketball team begins 6 p.m. Saturday at Virginia State.

MR. TWO-WAY
Junior Zahrion Blue (Princeton, N.J./Princeton) leads the team, and is second in the CIAA, averaging 19.2 points per game. He has scored at least 15 points in 17 of the team's 19 games, including 10 times of at least 20 points. Earlier this year, Blue reached 1,000 career points.
Blue is coming off a career-high 19 rebounds, 14 of which were on the defensive end, with three assists and a steal in the win over Shaw.
He is currently eighth in the conference with 7.4 rebounds and sixth with 2.9 assists.
WINDEX MEN
Lincoln is one of the top rebounding teams in the CIAA, leading the league with 15.0 offensive rebounds and is fifth with 24.9 defensive rebounds. The 15.0 offensive boards are fifth nationally.
The Lions are second in rebounding margin, outrebounding their opponents by 6.1 boards per game. Two players - Alex Nunnally (Washington, D.C./Cesar Chavez Parkside) (6th, 7.6 rpg) and Blue (eighth, 7.4 rpg) - are ranked in the top 10 of the conference.
SUPER FROSH
Freshman point guard Reggie Hudson (Bronx, N.Y./St. Raymond's) is growing into his role with the Lions. Since being inserted into the starting lineup, Lincoln is 8-1. He is coming off one of his most complete games of his career with 14 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and two steals in the win over Shaw.
Hudson has reached double figures in five of the last seven games and is averaging 11.4 points over that stretch. On the season, he is averaging 6.9 points, 2.8 rebounds with a team-high 57 assists.
HIGH OCTANE
The Lincoln University men's basketball team is second in the CIAA with 75.5 points per game. The Lions are one of five conference teams with a positive scoring margin, second in the league, outscoring teams by 5.4 points per game.
DEFENSE
The Lions thrives on defense to hold their opponents to 60 points or less. As Lincoln has won nine of its 10 games, the team has held five opponents to 60 points or less, including a 68-58 win over Shaw Wednesday.
Lincoln is also third in defensive field goal percentage, holding teams to just 41.3 percent from the field.
ATTENDANCE
Fans are showing up to Manuel Rivero this season as Lincoln is second in the CIAA in home attendance, averaging 864 fans. It could play a huge role in Lincoln's 7-1 home record this season. The lone loss, a 78-74 decision to Shepherd, came in the home opener.
