2015 - Lincoln 20, Shaw 10
2014 - Shaw 38, Lincoln 27
2009 - Shaw 68, Lincoln 6
2019 - Shaw 56, Lincoln 7

THE LAST MEETING
Lincoln raced out to a 17-0 lead and controled more than 42 minutes of the clock in recording the 20-10 win on September 26, 215.
The Lions held Shaw to 135 total offense in the 2015 opener, snapping a three-year CIAA skid.
Running back Stephen Scott toted the rock 43 times for 123 yards and a touchdown to lead the offense, while Wadel Louis led the team with seven tackles.

THE LAST GAME
The Lincoln University football team capped the non-conference portion of its schedule with a 56-0 loss to Division I Gardner Webb.
Elijah Snell (Brooklyn, N.Y./Erasmus Hall) was the offensive bright spot with 55 yards rushing on eight attempts. Devon Cathcart (Chicago, Ill./Thornton Fractional South) led the team with 11 tackles.

QUARTERBACK DERBY
After playing all three quarterbacks through the first three games of the season, it appears as if freshman Andrew Banks (Atlanta, Ga. /Mays) has laid claim to the starting job as the Lions head into the CIAA opener.
In two games, Banks has completed 61 percent (19-of-31) of his passes for 178 yards. He has one rushing touchdown for Lincoln.

SHARING THE LOAD
Unlike the quarterback position, where one person has solidified his place at the top of the depth chart - the running back room is still flush with plenty of option the Lions plan on using.
Elijah Snell (Brooklyn, N.Y./Erasmus Hall) is coming off a 55-yard effort on eight carries. The 55 yards marked the most by any LU running back this season and leaves his second on the team in rushing.
Ahman Foster-Powell (Henrico, Va./Highland Springs) leads the team wih 75 yards on 28 attempts. Despite missing the Gardner Webb game, Zaheer Seabrooks (Paterson, N.J. /Bethlehem Catholic) is still second on the team with nine carries. Five other backs have at least five attempts on the season.

SMOOTH CRIMINALS
The Lincoln defense has recorded an interception in each of the first three games and enters this contest with four picks total. Four different players - Eric Best (Burlington, N.J. /Burlington)Rontay Dunbar (Brooklyn, N.Y. /Freedom)Roosevelt Jordan (Shamong, N.J./Seneca) and Khaleb McRae (Willingboro, N.J./Willingboro) - all have an interception on the season. Dunbar had a pick-six taken off the board against Central State thanks to an offside penalty.

ROCKING THE CRADLE
Junior receiver Michael Credle, Jr. (Bear, Del./Glasgow) leads the team with 11 receptions for 89 yards through three games. No other player has more than four catches. Rashon Cooke (Sharon Hill, Pa./Lower Merion) has four catches for 41 yards, while Drew Stephens (Newark, N.J. /Abraham Clark) is second on the team with 55 yards.

MILITARY ACADEMIES
Lincoln's football roster has four new players that have spent time at Military Prep Schools. SEEING DOUBLE
Two sets of twins will line up for the Lions this season in defensive linemen Evan and Elliot Chavous, and defensive backs Roosevelt and Samuel Bryant (Tucker, Ga. /Tucker)

WELCOME TO COATESVILLE
Due to construction delays, the first three Lincoln University football games will be moved to Coatesville Area High School. The next home game will be 1 p.m. September 11 against Central State University.

SACKS TO GIVE BACK
For every sack the Lions record this season, Food Lion Feeds will donate one-thousand meals to feed our neighbors in need right here in Oxford area.
This far, Lincoln is responsible for 4,000 meals as Devon Cathcart (Chicago, Ill./Thornton Fractional South) and Derrick McCoy (Bridgeton, N.J. /Bridgeton) has two sacks each for the Lions.
