Student Artwork to be displayed at the Oxford Arts Alliance 10th Anniversary Kickoff

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – Students from Lincoln University’s Visual and Performing Arts Department will have their artwork displayed at the Oxford Arts Alliance 10th Anniversary Kickoff event on Friday, February 2. The kickoff will begin at 5 p.m. with a ribbon cutting celebration starting at 6:30 p.m.

The Oxford Arts Alliance is a community-based non-profit organization that provides leadership and advocacy for the arts. The arts alliance houses an art gallery, music and art academy, and offers classes and workshops for children and adults.

Currently, the Oxford Arts Alliance is hosting a visual arts exhibit that began on January 19 and continues through February 10. The exhibit features artwork from alumni and current Lincoln University students from the Visual and Performing Arts Department.

Jeffery A. Chapp, the exhibit curator and associate professor of studio arts at Lincoln University held a talk at the exhibit on January 24 and discussed the history of Lincoln University’s art department.
