VB Preview: Georgian Court Lions

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. - The Lincoln University volleyball team begins the 2021 campaign by traveling to Lakewood, N.J. for a non-conference match with Georgian Court.

TEAMS: The game marks the first official game for Lincoln University head coach Charity Hart. Georgian Court is unbeaten in three matches, including a 3-1 win over CIAA-rival Virginia State.

PLAYERS: Only three players – Jasmin Lewis (Baltimore, Md. /Western)Sage Polee (Pikeville, Md./Millford Mill Academy), and Sequoia Rantin (Baltimore, Md./Eastern Tech) – were on the team the last time the Lions played a regular-season match. Two other players – Janae Stackhouse (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore PolyTech) and Tatyana Charles (Easton, Pa./Eastern Area) – return after sitting out the 2019 season.
Freshman twins Erica and Erinn Taylor (Romulus, MI/Romulus Summit Academy) got a taste of collegiate volleyball as the Lions played a match in the 2021 spring season.

SERIES HISTORY: Lincoln has lost all three meetings against Georgian Court. The pair of Lions have met in each of the last three seasons.
