This is the first meeting between the two teams. Lincoln is 12-21 all-time against teams from Mercyhurst's conference, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC).

ADDITIONS
Scheduling during the COVID pandemic will be ever-evolving, this series with Mercyhurst is a prime example. With the PSAC deciding not to play as a conference, Mercyhurst was left to schedule games. The teams will play on back-to-back days on December 8th and 9th.

REGIONALLY RANKED
The Lincoln University women's basketball team was ranked ninth in the preseason D2SIDA Atlantic Regional poll. Indiana (PA) earned all first-place votes for 50 points, followed by Glenville State (41), Gannon (40), Bowie State (38), Virginia Union (26), Notre Dame (23), California (22), Charleston (14), Lincoln (12), and Fayetteville State (5).

BATTLE TESTED

BIG SPARK
Senior swiss army knife Joy Morton (Yeadon, Pa./Penn Wood) is back after tallying 6.0 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. She is living up to her nickname "Big Spark" with the energy she brings while on the court.
Morton led the team with nine points against GW, and then pulled down a team-high eight rebounds against Syracuse.

SKY'S THE LIMIT
Senior forward Skydajah Patterson (Bronx, N.Y./Bishop Loughlin) led the team with 11 points against the Orange. Hopefully, it's a glimpse of what's ahead for Patterson. After averaging 13.7 points and 8.9 rebounds as a sophomore at Hostos Community College, Patterson tallied 5.1 points and 3.2 rebounds in her first season with Lincoln.

WHAT CAN BROWN DO FOR YOU?
Senior guard Bryanna Brown (New York, N.Y./Bishop Loughlin) is the top returning scorer for the Lions after scoring 7.4 points per game. She is the top returner in three-point shooting (31), assists (56), and steals (40).

In two games, one official contest, Brown is shooting 2-of-20 (10 percent) from the floor, including 1-of-9 from three-point range.
