SERIES HISTORY
This will be the first time these two teams will be meeting on the hardwood. Charleston defeated CIAA foe Livingstone, 53-44, earlier this season.

I BRY-LIEVE
Senior Bryanna Brown (New York, N.Y./Bishop Loughlin) is just 29 points from reaching 1,000 career points in her NCAA Division II career. The shooting guard scored 653 points in her first two seasons at NYACK. She has tallied 318 points in a Lincoln uniform.
Brown is currently seventh in the CIAA in scoring with 14.3 points per game. Coming into the season, the guard was named preseason All-CIAA as a backcourt selection in the conference vote of head coaches and sports information personnel.
She leads in the conference, making 88 percent (22-of-25) of her free throws this season.

PRESEASON POLL
Lincoln was picked to finish second in the conference's North Division. Bowie State was picked to win the division, followed by Lincoln, Virginia Union, Elizabeth City State, Virginia State, and Shaw. Fayetteville State was the preseason favorite in the South Division, followed by Johnson C. Smith, Winston-Salem State, Livingstone, Saint Augustine's, and Claflin.

DROPPING DIMES
Junior Jade Young (Philadelphia, Pa./Abington Friends School) has been a settling force for the Lincoln offense mainly off the bench this season. In the last game against Washington Adventist, Young got her first start of the year. She is tied for second in the conference with 2.4 assists per game.  As a team, the Lions are leading the CIAA with 13.60 assists per game.

HIGH POWERED OFFENSE
Lincoln responded to a season-low 47 points in the loss to Shepherd by posting a season-high 87 points in the win over Washington Adventist. The previous high was 71 points in the season-opening victory over Millersville.
The Lions are leading the CIAA with 69.2 points per game, and are second in scoring margin at plus-6.6.

WELCOME BACK
After sitting out last season, senior Shantel Cheeks (Washington D.C./Rock Creek Christian Academy (Harcum College)) returned to the Lincoln roster and has made an immediate impact for the Lions. Her length on the top of Lincoln's full-court press and half-court zones have been key to the LU defense.

HITTING THE GLASS
Lincoln has gained extra possessions by pulling down 99 offensive rebounds in five games, besting its opponents, 99-51. The extra opportunities have led to 69 second-chance points. In the win over WAU, the Lions had 27 offensive boards which led to 20 second-chance points.
Senior Kryshell Gordy (Chester, Pa./Ursuline Academy (Del.)) and junior Jeana Weatherspoon (Columbus, Ohio/Northland) are tied for the team-lead with 13 offensive rebounds. Gordy leads the team, and is seventh in the CIAA, with 6.6 rebounds per contest.
