WSOC ends season at RWC

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA  – The Lincoln University women's soccer team wrapped up the 2021 season with a 10-0 loss to Roberts Wesleyan Saturday in East Coast Conference action in Rochester, NY.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Roberts Wesleyan scored six goals in the first half, and four in the second half.
  • The Redhawks tallied first-half goals in the third, 14th, 19th, 23rd, 30th and 39th minutes. RWC scored second-half goals in the 48th, 60th, 63rd, and 79th minutes.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

  • Lincoln didn't secure a shot, while the Redhawks finished with 54 shots – 30 of which were on goal.
  • Lincoln was called for 12 fouls, while RWC had nine. The Redhawks took all nine of the game's corner shot.
  • Freshman Saige Samuels (Laurel, Md. /Paint Branch) finished with 19 saves on the match.

Lincoln finishes the season 0-14 overall, 0-9 in the ECC.
