LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – A Philadelphia Police captain and alumna Jacqueline Bailey-Pittman, M.Ed. ’00 donated $50,000 on Tuesday to establish the Jacqueline L. Bailey-Pittman Endowed Scholarship for Philadelphia students majoring in criminal justice at Lincoln University.

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Education recently named Chalwe Z. Diallo, a 2013 Lincoln graduate as a recipient of the Horace Mann Bond-Leslie Pinckney Hill Scholarship for graduate studies.

Lincoln University’s administration, faculty, staff and students are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Julian Bond, an admired civil rights leader who leaves a rich legacy that others can only aspire to achieve. He spent many years on this campus with his father, Horace Mann Bond ’23, the university’s first African American president, from 1945 to 1957.
In addition, Julian Bond also received an honorary degree from Lincoln University in 1970.
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – At least four Lincoln University alumnae will be receiving medical degrees from various medical schools across the country this month.
The new alumnae medical doctors graduated from Lincoln between 2006 and 2011 with bachelor’s degrees in either biology or health science.
