The Deadline to Apply is July 31
Lincoln University, a premier, nationally ranked institution of higher education, is seeking applications for its annual Amos Scholarship Award in Music for the 2002-2003 academic year.
To be eligible, applicants must be instrumental music majors or minors at the University; students who have exhibited significant musical talent, academic achievement (2.75 grade point average minimum), and high potential for an exemplary career in music. The annual award is at least $500.
In addition, to be eligible for the scholarship, prospective Lincoln students must:
- fully complete the application process for admission to Lincoln University
- fully complete and submit the financial aid application for Lincoln; and
- complete the audition process for the Instrumental Music Scholarship.

The endowed award was established in 2000 by Dr. Alvin E. Amos, a professor of music at Lincoln, and his wife, Carol.
