Lincoln University Ranks at Top Nationally Among All Colleges and Universities

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY –  According to 1999-2000 data compiled by the U.S. Department of Education, Lincoln University:

  • ranks second in the nation in graduating African Americans with baccalaureate degrees in the physical sciences (biology, chemistry, and physics).
  • ranks 12th in the nation among colleges and universities in graduating all minorities with baccalaureate degrees in the physical sciences.
  • ranks in the top 2 percent in the nation in graduating African Americans with baccalaureate degrees in computer and information sciences.
  • ranks in the top 2 percent in the nation in graduating African Americans with baccalaureate degrees in biological and life sciences.
  • ranks in the top 3 percent in the nation in graduating African Americans in all disciplines.
  • is one of 20 universities in the nation where 40% or more of its physics graduates are women.
