Lincoln University, PA- Christian Hip-Hop artist Christawn has chosen Lincoln University as his first destination on his HBCU tour. His live performance will take place in the Ware Center Theater on Monday, February 28 at 7:00 p.m.
The New Jersey native, Brandon “Christawn” Womack is the son of Lincoln alumnus Wilson Womack ’72 and brother of alumna Brooke Womack ’09. His first radio single “Save Me” is a testimony about how God directed him away from a life of crime and violence. He uses his music to inspire those who experience the same struggles he faced as a youth.
Christawn’s album “Life Story” debuted at number 49 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums sales chart, with his music gaining a large hip-hop fan base.
He is signed to Abundant Harvest Entertainment, which Lincoln University Chairman Bishop David G. Evans ’74 founded.
His buttery smooth style and infectious beats are reminiscent of his musical idol Nas. Christawn’s album will be on sale after the concert.
