Webb Appointed Interim Director of PR and Communications

Lincoln University has announced the appointment of Eric Christopher Webb, a 1991 graduate of the University as Interim Director of Public Relations and Communications.  Webb replaces Scott Miller who joined the University in April but had to return to Arizona due to family matters.

Webb is also a Philip Merrill College of Journalism Fellow from the University of Maryland, College Park and holds a Professional Certificate from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government where he was a Fellow with the Institute on Media and American Democracy.  He has completed several other fellowships and is a Master of Education candidate at Howard University, Washington, DC.

Currently, Webb is an Assistant Manager and Trainer with Chase In-Airport Credit Card Services which is administered by Stratmar Marketing, Inc., at the Baltimore-Washington International Airport.  A former high school and college English teacher, Webb served as the Washington Correspondent for Thompson Newspapers and is a former Reporter with Tribune Chronicle.

Webb expressed, “I am honored to be returning to the institution that helped to train me and give me a solid foundation in journalism.  I look forward to doing all I can to assist President Jennings and the Lincoln family in moving the University to new levels of excellence.”  He will join the University on September 10th.
