LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – Trustee Kimberly A. Lloyd ’94 was unanimously elected Board Chair of The Lincoln University Board of Trustees at its Annual Meeting held March 23.
Lloyd, whose term as Chair is from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2015, has served on the Board since August 2004.
In addition, the Board also unanimously elected its remaining slate of officers. They include Trustees Rev. Dr. Kevin R. Johnson, Vice-Chair and Mr. Kevin E. Vaughan, Secretary.
Lloyd, a Commercial Real Estate Professional with The Michaels Organization, is a former Vice President for both City National Bank and GMAC Commercial Mortgage. In addition to The Lincoln University Board of Trustees, she serves on the boards of the Neumann Senior Housing Corporation and the Ogontz Avenue Revitalization Corporation, of which she also serves as treasurer. Lloyd is also a member of The Pennsylvania Society, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and both the Pennsylvania State University and Lincoln University Alumni Associations.
She holds a master’s degree in management and organization from Pennsylvania State University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from The Lincoln University.
The Lincoln University, founded in 1854 as the nation’s first degree-granting Historically Black College and University (HBCU), combines the elements of a liberal arts and science-based undergraduate curriculum along with select graduate programs to meet the needs of those living in a highly-technological and global society. Today, the University enrolls a diverse student body of approximately 2,000 men and women.
