Jazmyn Lewis, biology major and member of the Class of 2014It is with deep sadness that we mourn the loss of Jazmyn Lewis, biology major and member of the Class of 2014.  Her precious life was snatched away in the early morning of November 2, 2014 when the car she was a passenger in veered off the road and struck a guardrail.

The University has grief counselors available for any student, staff or faculty member that wishes to talk with someone.  For additional information about this service, please call extension 7244.  In coordination and communication with the Lewis family, the University will also provide additional information about a memorial service for Jazmyn Lewis at a later date.

Please keep the Lewis family in your thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time.

With sympathy,
President Jennings
