Student Wire

Welcome to Student Wire, a service from the Division of Student Success at Lincoln University. Student Wire is a daily email newsletter with brief summaries of campus announcements of general interest to students at Lincoln University. Student Wire is sent by email to student's Lincoln University emails each day at 9 a.m. Any faculty or staff member at Lincoln can submit a post to Student Wire. Students or student organizations who want to send a message through Student Wire should contact their student organization adviser.

The Daily Bulletin is the sister publication for faculty and staff. A link to the Student Wire archive is included at the end of each edition of the Daily Bulletin.

Deadline
Items may be sent anytime, but for full consideration, items must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. the day prior to the desired publication date.
 
Official business 
A post must be an official announcement sponsored by a student organization or a campus department or unit. Personal, commercial, and other non-university posts are not appropriate. Posts aimed at fundraising or revenue-generating matters are generally not appropriate.
 
Content based on submissions
The content in the Student Wire is based on what is sent to the editor to be included; there is no content that is automatically included.
 
Once is enough 
Normally, an item should appear in only one Student Wire. Requests to send an announcement “every day for the next week,” for example, will not be accommodated.
 
Editing
The editors reserve the right to clarify announcements.
