LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – Twenty-six Lincoln University students joined the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives Collegiate Chapter at Lincoln University during an April 11 ceremony.

NOBLE—as the organization is known—has a mission to ensure equity in the administration of justice in the provision of public service to all communities, and to serve as the conscience of law enforcement by being committed to justice by action.

Ashley Juma, Asyrra McCoggle, Ayani Smith, Brandon Burrell, Brendan Sherman-Johnson, Brittany Sellow, DaReesha Brown, Deion Miller, Dominique Graves, Ebony Brown, Edward McKenzie, Jadayah Herbert, Johneka Thompson, Keyshawna Byrd, Kyia Bristol, Nyah Jackson, Olateju Ishola, Rhamir Thomas, Santasia Cadet, Sean Greene, Shaquita Hebb, and Yvon Thegeniste.
The students heard remarks from two keynote speakers: NOBLE’s Executive Director Dwayne A. Crawford and Gary Tuggle, special agent in charge at the U. S. Drug Enforcement Administration, Philadelphia Division. Tuggle has more than 30 years of law enforcement experience and began his law enforcement career as a Baltimore City Police Officer.
Amy Nelson, NOBLE campus chapter chairwoman, along with NOBLE’s Executive Director Dwayne A. Crawford, James R. Jones, assistant professor in criminal justice, serves as the chapter advisor, Emmanuel Babatunde, professor and chair of the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice, and Jeffrey Covington, co-chairman of the NOBLE Lincoln Chapter, after the April 11, 2017, NOBLE pinning ceremony.
Jadayah Herbert serves as the chapter’s student president and James R. Jones, assistant professor in criminal justice, serves as the chapter advisor.

Jeffrey Covington, a retired FBI agent and the co-chairman of the NOBLE Lincoln Chapter, and Debbie Francis, Greater Philadelphia Chapter President, pinned the new members.
The goal of NOBLE is to be recognized as a highly competent, public service organization that is at the forefront of providing solutions to law enforcement issues and concerns, as well as to the ever-changing needs of our communities.
