Lincoln University, Pa. – Three Lincoln University faculty and staff recently received professional honors and distinctions.
Research Published in Academic Journals
William Kwame Dadson
This summer, William Kwame Dadson, a business and entrepreneurial studies professor, published two academic papers. His paper Oil Revenue and the Economy of Ghana: Dutch Disease Prevention is published in the International Journal of Social Science and Humanities Research. It focuses on the intertwined relationship between Dutch disease, the Ghanaian economy and the World Bank. Throughout the paper, Dadson discusses the Ghanaian government’s response to the World Bank’s policy recommendations on Dutch disease prevention in Ghana.
His second paper, Profit Maximization and Corporate Social Responsibility: The Case of Wal-Mart Stores and AXA Group is published in the April-September edition of the International Journal of Management and Commerce Innovations. In the paper, Dadson examined the relationship between corporate social responsibility and profit maximization by conducting a case study on Wal-Mart and Axa Group. According the Dadson, these companies were chosen based on their strong emphasis on corporate social responsibility.
Millette Developing Cultural Center in Grenada

Robert E. Millette, a native of Grenada and sociology professor, is developing a museum and cultural center in Grenada.
The museum will arrange lectures, workshops, and panel discussions based on the political, social, and financial issues facing Grenada. Those working in the cultural center will work to preserve the multifaceted history of Grenada by documenting and digitizing the speeches of present and former prime ministers while also cataloguing an archive of Grenada’s past and future heroes. “The project has been well received by the government and the people of Grenada,” Millette stated.
Millette also plans to feature prominent Lincoln University graduates in the cultural center and hopes to provide internship and research opportunities for current students interested in Grenada.
Millette is a former ambassador of Grenada to the United Nations and former president of the Caribbean Studies Association.
Wolfe Elected to Alumni Council at Pennsylvania State University
Heather M. Wolfe
Heather M. Wolfe, an assistant athletic trainer in Athletics, has been elected to serve on the Pennsylvania State University alumni council. “I am excited to begin working with the council,” Wolfe said.
Her three-year term began July 1. Those elected to serve on the council will advise and guide the university’s programs and initiatives to ensure they align with overall mission of Pennsylvania State University.
