Lincoln University, Pa. – Lincoln University faculty and staff share their recent accomplishments.

Myers Earns Bachelor’s Degree

Gina Myers, a campus security officer in public safety, has earned a bachelor's degree online in healthcare administration from Ashford University in San Diego, California. Myers has worked at Lincoln from January 2001 to 2013 and 2015 to the present. Myers is pursuing a Master’s of Science in criminal justice with a concentration in public safety administration.

Harris Selected as Forty Under 40 Awardee

Jonathan Harris, a residence hall coordinator in residence life, was recently selected as a Prince George’s County, Maryland, Forty under 40 awardee. The award recognizes Prince George’s County residents under the age of 40 who have made exceptional contributions in their professional and community endeavors.

“It is truly an honor to receive this nomination,” said Harris. “I love what I do and will continue serving my community any way I can.”

Harris will receive the award in a ceremony on June 6 at the Newton White Mansion in Mitchellville, Maryland.

Taylor-Benns Selected as Pennsylvania ACT Champion

Kimberly Taylor-Benns, the associate vice president for enrollment management, has been selected as a Pennsylvania ACT College and Career Readiness Postsecondary Champion.

ACT champions are individuals that make a positive impact on their communities through their efforts to advance college and career readiness.

Taylor-Benns was nominated by Nikoia Forde, the director of undergraduate admissions.

“I am humbled and appreciative,” said Taylor-Benns. “I am blessed to have such an amazing team.”
