Lincoln University, Pa. – September 29 has been proclaimed “Lincoln University Day” by the council president of the City of Los Angeles based on a request from the Southern California Chapter of the Alumni Association of Lincoln University.
The Southern California Chapter of the Alumni Association of Lincoln University will hold its first general meeting at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, at the Dickerson Building located at 1918 Riverside Drive in Los Angeles, California. All alumni and supporters of Lincoln University are welcome to attend. No registration is required.
The Southern California Chapter’s interim president is Leslie Freeman. In attendance at the September 29 meeting representing Lincoln University will be Dr. Mellissia M. Zanjani, CFRE, vice president for institutional advancement, and Deborah E. Johnson, director of alumni relations.
Lincoln University in Pennsylvania is the nation's first degree-granting Historically Black College & University and was founded in 1854.
The Alumni Association of Lincoln University, Pennsylvania, Inc. is an IRS Section 501(c)(3) separate charitable membership organization dedicated to advancing the interests of Lincoln University PA(University) and its graduates.
