Pla to Speak at ABCA Convention

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA - Lincoln University head baseball coach Anthony Pla will be forefront during the 2021 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Convention in January.

Pla will be one of 12 speakers during the ABCA Youth Coaches Session. The Youth Coaches Session presented by GameChanger is an annual staple at the ABCA Convention. This year's Youth Coaches Session will be in the Virtual Convention and features 12 presentations tailored specifically for coaches of youth-level teams up to age 14 years old.

"It's an honor and a pleasure to be speaking on the Youth Coaches stage at the American Baseball Coaches Association National Convention," said Pla. "It is the biggest and best Coaches Association in the sport and I am proud to be a 20-year member. It is a great opportunity to share the knowledge I have learned from so many great coaches before me and I am humbled by the chance to speak with so many others."

He will be speaking about practicing with goals in mind. Other speakers during the sessions include Division I coaches from Kent State University, Wright State University, East Carolina University and Seton Hall University.

The virtual convention is a four-day affair starting January 7, 2021.
