Softball rounds out signing class

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa - The final three pieces of the Lincoln University softball recruiting class as head coach Renee Clark announces the signing of Jaelynn Barrios (Bayonne, N.J./Bayonne), Aniyah Isaac (North Brunswick, N.J./North Brunswick) and Kevyn Jones (Baltimore, Md./Paul Laurence Dunbar).

The trio joins Tia Brown, Irlynn Richardson, Jasmine Solis, Jarae Turner, Cate Liskey and junior college transfer Amaya Townsend (Port Jervis, N.Y./Port Jervis), who is already on campus, in Clark's first signing class.

JAELYNN BARRIOS | 5-7 | P/OF
BAYONNE, N.J./BAYONNE
NOTES:
Jennie Finch Empowerment Award winner … selected for the MLB and USA Softball Elite Development Invitational … selected for the MLB and USA Softball Breakthrough Series … National Junior Honors Society honoree … earned first and second honors throughout high school career
COACHES COMMENTS: We are excited to add Jaelynn Barrios to our softball family. I believe Jaelynn is one of the most talented and versatile student-athletes in the tri-state area. Not only is she talented on the diamond, she also received academic aid for her performance in the classroom. Jaelynn will see time at first base/outfield, and make an immediate impact in the middle of the order.
WHY LINCOLN: It meant a lot to me to attend a prestigious HBCU and to further my athletic career in a competitive conference.

ANIYAH ISAAC | 5-8 | OF
NORTH BRUNSWICK, N.J./NORTH BRUNSWICK
COACHES COMMENTS:
Aniyah is a talented student-athlete and the last piece of the puzzle for the class of 2025. An outfielder who can play all three positions, Aniyah can also play anywhere in the infield.  A speedster at the top of the line-up, look for Aniyah to be setting the table on a routine basis!
WHY LINCOLN: I loved the campus and I got a sense of felling at home when I visited. I've always wanted to go to an HBCU and this one isn't too far from home.

KEVYN JONES | 5-7 | UTL
BALTIMORE, MD/PAUL LAURENCE DUNBAR
NOTES:
Team MVP and Athlete of the Year … highest team GPA as a junior … team captain in volleyball, basketball and softball
COACHES COMMENTS: Kevyn is a versatile student athlete that will make an immediate on our Softball Family.  A talented third baseman and catcher, Kevyn will solidify the middle of the order next year.
WHY LINCOLN: Lincoln is a great school to help achieve both my educational and athletic goals. It allows me to be close to family, but also far enough to develop my own person.
