WSOC loses to Felician

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. - The Lincoln University women's soccer team fell to Felician 8-0 Sunday in non-conference action at the LU Auxiliary Field. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Felician opened the scoring in the third minute and then added two more goals in the first half. It tallied 20 shots, nine of which were on frame. 
  • The Golden Eagles tallied five goals on 27 shots. Nineteen of the Felician shots were on frame. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

  • Freshman Parker Moss (Elmira, N.Y. /Elmira) (Elmira, N.Y.) recorded two of Lincoln's three shots on frame. 
  • Freshman Grace Quiah (Philadelphia, Pa. /John Bartram) (Philadelphia, Pa.) had the other shot on goal. 
  • Lincoln had six shots total. 
  • Freshman Saige Samuels (Laurel, Md. /Paint Branch) (Laurel, Md.) finished with 18 saves while allowing six goals in 84 minutes.

  • Lincoln (0-2) hosts Division I Hampton 2 p.m. Wednesday at the LU Auxiliary Field.
