WSOC Preview: STAC Spartans

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. - The Lincoln University soccer team travels to Sparkill, N.Y. 3 p.m. Saturday to open East Coast Conference action against Saint Thomas Aquinas.

TEAMS: Lincoln is winless on the season after a pair of losses last week. STAC opened the week with a 3-0 win over Bloomfield Sunday to improve to 1-2.

PLAYERS: Freshman Saige Samuels (Laurel, Md. /Paint Branch) has played more of the time between the pipes, recorded 31 saves while allowing 11 goals.  Her 15.5 saves per game are second nationally.
Freshman Parker Moss (Elmira, N.Y. /Elmira) has five of Lincoln's 14 shots and four of the team's seven shots on goal.
Three different players – Caitlin Speranza, Amanda Fuchs-White and Ileana Santiago – each scored for the Spartans.

SERIES HISTORY: Saint Thomas Aquinas has won all seven meetings between the two schools.
